Vote NO for more taxes!
Vote NO for more taxes on May 18th! Sure, it's "for the children", or for "education" or "the poor". The children, the elderly, the poor, the downtrodden, America has become a practically communist nation in the name of somebody else's "good", while we still have the poor, the elderly, and the downtrodden, and thankfully some children.
America became the greatest nation that the world had ever seen based upon principles of economic freedom and on Christian charity. Ever since the advent of the "Great Society" social programs America has been in a serious state of economic decline, allowing jobs and technology to disappear overseas while we burdened ourselves with ever-increasing taxes to feed ever-growing bureaucracies. Yet bureaucracies have never solved our problems, and neither will they. Under bureaucracy, the problem is only magnified so that the bureaucracy can continue to gain power.
No matter the cause or the agency, we must stop the budget increases, and stop allowing ourselves to be enslaved to government. No matter the nobility of the appeal or the cause, we must stop the growth of the middlemen, the parasitic class of bureaucrats who fatten themselves in the name of "good". We must learn once again, as the founders of this nation certainly understood, that it is much wiser to care for our own families and communities, rather than seek a government to play God for us.
